We recently did a 4x4 tour on the public part of the Sierra de Andújar with our guide Miguel Angel. The tour was conducted in English and explanations were great: entertaining and accurate. He covered of course the wildlife of the area, but also it's geology, exploitation and history. We genuinely enjoyed the tour and getting to know the Sierra. We spotted many animal species, some of which are unique to Spain, and others which are endangered (in Spanish): rabilargo, pinzón, buitre negro, buitre leonado, águila imperial, cernícalo común, mochuelo, avión roquero, búho real (canto), cormorán, lagarto ocelado, ciervo, gamo, Ibex ibérico, cabra montés, conejo. In summary, very much recommended for those who want to get to know the Sierra!![]()
