Hide
The hide accommodates up to six people and is equipped with one-way glass, a chemical toilet, and air conditioning for warmer months from may to september.
Wildlife behaviour
The area surrounding the hide is home to a resident family of lynxes, making it possible to observe individuals of various ages.
The Sierra de Andújar remains the heart of Iberian lynx recovery, once on the brink of extinction due to habitat loss, rabbit decline, and persecution. Today, thanks to intensive conservation efforts, the species is classified as Vulnerable rather than Critically Endangered.
The hides, which offer a very good chance of success, are located at distances from the animals ranging from 5 to 100 metres, with the most common distances being around 10 to 15 metres. Smoking and making noise inside the hide is strictly prohibited, as is leaving the hide. If any problems arise, the guide will be notified.
